With over 25 years’ experience of software development under his belt, Mark co-wrote and developed TranSearch after a request from an acquaintance within the Inland Revenue for a robust and secure product which could track and trace taxpayers’ documents. Six months later, TranSearch Version 1.0 was born!
Demand for the product came thick and fast following the launch into the Inland Revenue 33 years ago and UK Software Ltd now counts most of the large accounting companies, 30% of the UK police force, property management companies and large pharmaceutical companies amongst its trusted customers.

Our clients across both government and private industries tell us it is now one of the most flexible systems on the market, with a multitude of add-ons and the ability to interface to a number of external interfaces, both standard (such as O’Neil) and customer-specific internal interfaces. In addition, our long-term partnerships with third party archivists and Records Management specialists mean we can anticipate customer requirements and adapt our product to the changing needs of the Records Management environment.”
Having been congratulated on buying his dad a pint by the barman whilst in a local pub one evening with Andy, he claims the copyright to the christening of Andy as “Grandad”
