UK Software is an independent software house specialising in providing solutions for live and archive management of physical and electronic items, from creation to final archive storage and destruction.

Company History

Incorporated in 1993, UK Software started out as a small company with three young Directors, including one accountant and two developers. After a chance conversation in a pub with a tax inspector who was complaining that he had no way to track and trace tax files, the three men put their heads together and came up with a simple system to solve that very problem – and so the first version of TranSearch was born!

 

Over the years the product has continually evolved and improved and today companies across such diverse industries as Accounting, Legal, the Police, the NHS, Auditing, Sports, pharmaceutical and local government have come to see the benefits of TranSearch and use our solutions for a wide variety of reasons to track and trace assets from paper files, contracts, keys, medical supplies, equipment, blood samples and criminal evidence, to name just a few examples.

At UKS we have, over the years, deepened our knowledge of the Records and Asset Management industry, developed strategic partnerships with other experts in the industry and strengthened our links with companies such as third-party archivists and government procurement agencies to become a well-established and deeply rooted entity in the Records and Asset Management industry.
